Stardoz – EQ

1. Why did you become a Guide?
   I become a Guide to be able to assist all players of Norrath. I wanted to be able to share the spare time, I have to run Quests, or just out to chat with the players in all of Norrath. I enjoy helping people and doing things that I can do and share the knowledge of EverQuest that I have learned over the many years of playing EverQuest.
   
   
2. What games do you guide in? For how long?
   EverQuest.
   
   
3. What is your guide race and class?
   Drakkin (Bard)
   
   
4. What is your favorite color?
   My Favorite color is Lime Green
   
   
5. What is your favorite land (zone)? Why?
   My Favorite zone in EverQuest is the Great Divide. I enjoy this zone as its very adventure's going up on top of the Mountain or just go after the Giants :). I also enjoy going to the Tutorial zones to meet with the new players and run quests for them as they are new to the program.
   
   
6. What has been your best or favorite moment as a Guide?
   The best part or favorite moment I have been being a Guide is all the time I have been a guide, Everyday. It's a new challenge and Rewarding to me to visit all players and have a chat with them. I enjoy running quests for the players.
   
   
7. What is your favorite quest, event, or knowledge circle? What do you do the most of?
   I really don't have a favorite quest, I really enjoy them a lot and they are very rewarding to run on servers for the players. My reward is to have players come and participate in the quest or event.
   
   
8. What has been your worst of least favorite moment as being a Guide?
   I have never had a least favorite moment being a guide. I enjoy being a EverQuest Guide so much.
   
   
9. As a player have you every run into any Guides and events?
   I have run into many quests and events as a player. I participate and respect the Guides that are performing the quests and events on my server.
   
   
10. What is your favorite thing about this Game?
    My favorite thing about this game is that I have gained many friends and have learned a lot of Knowledge from my Fellow game players. I think and believe EverQuest is the greatest game on the market and will continue to play it. I enjoy the team I work with on my Sever as a Guide they are all very supportive to me and are always willing to go the extra mile to help me if i have a problem or need assistance.
    
    
11. What do you plan to do in the future as a Guide? Any goals?
    My Goals with the Guide Program is to Join SWAT and Work Towards becoming a Senior In the Guide program.

Anurra – EQII

1. Why did you become a Guide?
   As player I loved role-playing, roaming around the cities just to chat with other players and sometimes to arrange small events for my friends in the game. In so doing I made first acquaintance with some guides. But it took nearly a year until I got in to the Guide Program - and now I can't imagine how I could wait with my application until then - Many thanks to the Guides who convinced me finally!
   
   Ich bin schon als Spieler gerne einfach durch die Städte gestreunt, um mich mit anderen Spielern zu unterhalten und habe das eine oder andere kleine Event für Freunde organisiert. Dabei habe ich auch die erste Bekanntschaft mit Guides gemacht. Es hat aber dann doch fast ein Jahr gedauert, bis ich endgültig Im Guide Program gelandet bin - und nun kann ich mir gar nicht mehr vorstellen, weshalb ich so lange mit meiner Anmeldung gewartet habe - Ein grosses Danke an die Guides, die bei mir die nötige Überzeugungsarbeit geleistet haben!

   I'm a Kerra brigand.

4. What is your favorite color?
   I love green, because it looks nice on my red fur, but I like black too, because it's a useful color if I want sneak unseen through the night *grins roguishly*
   
   Ich liebe grün, weils auf meinem roten Fell hübsch aussieht, aber ich mag auch schwarz, da dies eine nützliche Farbe ist, um ungesehen durch die Nacht zu schleichen *grinst schelmisch*
   
   
5. What is your favorite land (zone)?
   I love Freeport by night. The city has a quite dark and impressive charm as soon as the sun has set and sitting somewhere at the harbor and looking at remains of Luclin is just wonderful.
   
   Ich liebe Freihafen in der Nacht. Die Stadt hat eine besonders düstere und imposante Ausstrahlung sobald die Sonne untergegangen ist und irgendwo am Hafen zu sitzen und die Überreste von Luclin zu betrachten ist einfach nur wunderschön.
   
   
6. What has been your best or favorite moment as a Guide?
   There is no specific favorite moment, but I like the moments, when conversation with a players goes deep and when we come to share interesting stories about Norrath, ancient times our character backgrounds. And of course I'm always glad, if I could bring some joy to players by a quest.
   
   Ich habe keinen absoluten Lieblingsmoment, aber ich schätze die Situationen, in welchen die Unterhaltung mit Spielern Tiefe annimmt und wir beginnen, interessante Geschichten über Norrath, alte Zeiten oder unsere Charakterhintergründe auszutauschen. Und natürlich freut es mich immer sehr, wenn ich mit einer Quest Spielern Freude bereiten konnte.
   
   
7. What is your favorite quest, event, or knowledge circle? What do you do the most of?
   I like most of the quests, especially these, which encourage much creative role-play and have a interesting background.
   
   Ich mag die meisten Quests, besonders die, welche viel kreatives Rollenspiel ermöglichen und einen interessanten Hintergrund haben.
   
   
8. What has been your worst of least favorite moment as being a Guide?
   Fortunately I haven't undergone any really bad moment by now. But sometimes it can be a bit frustrating, if I'm just ignored and not a single person likes to taste a sip of milk or chat with a roguish Kerra ;-)
   
   Zum Glück habe ich noch keine wirklich schlimme Momente als Guide erlebt. Es kann manchmal aber etwas frustierend sein, wenn ich einfach ignoriert werde und keine einzige Person Lust auf einen Schluck Milch oder einen kleinen Tratsch mit einer schelmischen Kerra hat ;-)
   
   
9. As a player have you every run into any Guides and events?
   Yes, sometimes it happens that I meet guides as a player and I really like to chat with them. But since I'm a guide I really play less frequently on my playing server.
   
   Ja, es kommt vor, dass ich als Spieler Guides treffe und ich schätze es immer sehr, mich mit ihnen zu unterhalten. Allerdings spiele ich wirklich viel seltener auf meinem Spielserver seit ich Guide bin.
   
   
10. What is your favorite thing about this Game?
    The Kerra of course, hehe... but not alone, no, I like the extensive history of Norrath, the character diversity und especially the feeling of coming home, whenever I log in. Never had this happen in an other game.
    
    Die Kerra natürlich, hehe... aber nicht nur, nein, ich mag auch die umfangreiche Geschichte von Norrath, die Charaktervielfalt und besonders das Gefühl nach Hause zu kommen, jedes mal wenn ich einloge. Das habe ich bisher in keinem anderen Spiel gehabt.
    
    
11. What do you plan to do in the future as a Guide? Any goals?
    Well, my major goal is still to go some way toward creating Norrath livelier and more diversified for his dwellers. But since I'm training coordinator of Valor, the training of our new guides is also important to me.
    
    Nun, mein Hauptziel ist es immer noch, dazu beizutragen Norrath für seine Bewohner lebendiger und abwechslungsreicher zu gestalten, aber mir liegt auch sehr die Ausbildung der neuen Guides am Herzen, seit ich Training Coordinator von Valor bin.
