Ekdamos – EQ

1. Why did you become a Guide?
   I have a rather long history of participating in Computer role-playing games, so the EverQuest Guide Program was perfect for me. With our Guide Quests I can really lose myself in the character, and enjoy the role-play experience.
   
   
2. What games do you guide in? For how long?
   EverQuest is my sole gaming outlet - it offers me premium RPG experience.
   
   
3. What is your guide race and class?
   I chose a Wood Elf Ranger. I like the ideals espoused in the Lore of the Wood Elves.
   
   
4. What is your favorite color?
   My favorite color is Blue.
   
   
5. What is your favorite land (zone)? Why?
   I liked the Serpent Spine expansion, so I do my Solo Quests in Crescent Reach whenever I can.
   
   
6. What has been your best or favorite moment as a Guide?
   The best day was definitely the day I was promoted to Full Guide.
   
   
7. What is your favorite quest, event, or knowledge circle? What do you do the most of?
   I would say Skeleton Lord is my favorite Group Quest. For a solo Quest I try to play Punk the Imp as often as possible.
   
   
8. What has been your worst of least favorite moment as being a Guide?
   My least favorite moment was reading through the Test of Doom.
   
   
9. As a player have you every run into any Guides and events?
   Yes, I see Guide Events on Saryrn from time to time. I participate if I can.
   
   
10. What is your favorite thing about this Game?
    EverQuest is a great opportunity to make friends, and have fun. To me that is what online RP gaming is all about.
    
    
11. What do you plan to do in the future as a Guide? Any goals?
    In the short-term I'd like to focus more on multi-Guide Quests and less on Solo Quests. I'd like to get some time in as a Full Guide, but when the time is right for me I plan to apply for Senior Training.

Evelynne – EQII

1. Why did you become a Guide?
   I became a Guide because to me this game has always been a moving working functioning world of its own and anything I could do to make it better, well.. I wanted to help it thrive it whatever manner possible, and I also have just always wanted to be a guide... I guess it's just the way I am :)
   
   
2. What games do you guide on? For how long?
   I guide on EverQuest 2, crazily enough, for a whole 6 months now!
   
   
3. What is your guide race and class?
   Halfling Swashbuckler, previously a Halfling Monk, but the guide attire just doesn't have green pajamas!
   
   
4. What is your favorite color?
   Well, I don't have a single favourite colour, my favourite colour combination happens to be black and red.. But, of the more joyous colours, I would have to pick purple.
   
   
5. What is your favorite land (zone)?
   Eep! This is a hard one.. My favourite visitable zone for Evelynne would have to be Jarsath Wastes, just because it's so diverse and gigantic, and no one ever expects to see a Guide there! /cackle!
   
   
6. What has been your best or favorite moment as a Guide?
   To pick one favourite moment during my 6months here, would be impossible. There have been so many, from the fun moments with the other guides, to receiving fantastic tells from those we go all out for. It is an honour to be here, and every moment is a favourite to me
   
   
7. What is your favorite quest, event, or knowledge circle? What do you do the most of?
   Hmmm, favourite quest... Let's see, the most recent one has to be the one where two guides have to be a bickering couple.. The Elf male outcasts his Kerran lover and then the players have to assist in mending up the relationship, that quest is a blast for both players and guides it seems.. Also any quest where I get to be a scarecrow! That illusion is just toooo fun!
   
   
8. What has been your worst of least favorite moment as being a Guide?
   My least favourite moment? Hrm... Well... /eats a piece of pie while thinking.... I can honestly say, it's whenever I've had to depart a server... Both times have been hard on me because, I try to connect with the players and other guides I work with.
   
   
9. As a player have you every run into any Guides and events?
   Oh yes! Many a times, I find myself running into the Guides on my play server.... It's so hard not to critique other peoples work after having done it yourself >.<..
   
   
10. What is your favorite thing about this Game?
    My favourite thing about this game is.. the community, wherever you go, you can always find at least one person willing to help out. The players (at least to us guides) are fun and definitely show their softer side.. (Yes, I know how everyone acts to each other when guides aren't around :P)
    
    
11. What do you plan to do in the future as a Guide? Any goals?
    I actually am striving to become a Senior Guide... I've always wanted to be in the program and now that I am here I plan on going forth and doing the best I can. I already have the ability to help out on almost every server, which is awesome! I look forward to seeing everyone around Norrath somewhere :)
