It started off as a quiet day. A day when birds were singing, adventurers were drinking, and Lucky Sap, a human traveler, was off exploring the world. Little did he know, the world was about to change for the worse, especially for him. Lucky just had just begun a new adventure when he came across a small opening to a rather large pit.
"Hey what's this?"
As he bent to look into the opening, he felt a slight bump and fell in.
"AHHHHHHH!!"
The fall knocked Lucky unconscious. When he came to, he found himself in the middle of a realm of disease. He stood up and noticed a circle of plagued creatures surrounding him.
A rather large creature grabbed him and tossed him out through the opening of the pit.
Upon landing on the ground outside, he felt overwhelmed with a sense of panic and weakness. He had been struck with a deadly plague. But to make matters even worse, he realized he was missing something… Something very valuable.
Lucky managed to stumble into the nearby Haunted Elm Inn. He looked around the large room and then with his last breath mumbled, "My candy corn is missing."
The room became silent as the bartender rushed to lock the doors and call for the authorities. "Hey! Everyone stay right where you are. I'm getting the Guard " he shouted.
When a detective arrived on the scene, he immediately began to question everyone in the tavern. "Okay, I need each of you to tell me your name and tell me what you are doing here. Starting with you, pale sir."
"Vladimer Voola, at your service… Vhat do you vant vith me? I am just here drinking my very fine wine vich tastes delicious, I must say. Very… red if you vill."
"I am Elvira Graystreak. I came here to meet up with me Mumsie."
"I'm Elvira's mum, Mumsie"
"My name is Franque, I came here because my master said it was turning night."
"Hi detective" a woman said laughing. "Jackie O'Lantern; and I'm just here dancing!"
"Moldie… brains… Oummm. Must have.... drink."
"Thank you Mr. um Brains, I can see here we have a lot of truth to uncover here."
The detective began to examine his notes and called for backup to inspect the scene further.
